In January, the ministry of Original Women was launched at Rockford First with an overwhelming response of women who gathered. The same excitement was expressed at the 4th Annual Original Women's Conference in April with guest speaker Charlotte Gambill. What started as a small event has turned into a movement with over 700 women from near and far coming together to know God more!
On January 1, 2010 the Rockford Master's Commission announced the launch of Focus.one coming this fall. Students will gather from around the globe to focus one year of their life on God. If God made the world in just 6 days, imagine what he can do with your life in one year?
The First Annual Rockford Men's Conference launched in February with guests Monty Hipp and Terry Kelly. Hundreds of men gathered in pursuit of God and experienced life change!
This Easter, God did the incredible! With over 3,000 people in attendance, we heard an inspirational message from Pastor Jeremy DeWeerdt, powerful music from special Guest Ann Nesby, all while the kids enjoyed a 10,000 Easter egg hunt and learned about Jesus in a memorable way!
Even beyond the walls of the church, just last month 10 different world missions teams from Rockford First traveled to Chicago, New York, California, Vancouver, Mexico, Guatemala, Haiti, Scotland, South Africa, and China!
There is no limit to what God can do in and through this church. Rockford First...let's praise God as he creates momentum.
